Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses to provide high-quality acute care at a leading hospital in Asheville. Candidates will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, trauma and stroke center environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs through thorough triage and clinical evaluation.
• Administer emergency treatments, medications, and interventions per hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner system.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, including trauma, stroke, and behavioral health incidents.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and unit policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years’ nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an ER setting within a Level 2 trauma and comprehensive stroke center.
• Proven ability to work effectively in high-volume emergency department environments.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, coaching, and feedback skills.
• Flexibility to float within all areas of the ED as needed.
• Experience with GE monitors and Baxter pumps preferred.
