Job Summary:
Seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide expert care on a Medical/Stepdown unit. This role involves monitoring patients with telemetry capabilities and delivering high-quality inpatient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions by performing thorough assessments and monitoring vital signs.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to continuously track patient cardiac status.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on condition management and post-discharge care.
• Document all nursing activities accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner).

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent progressive care or stepdown experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with telemetry monitoring systems.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit a positive attitude, compassionate nature, and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and float to other units as needed.
