Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to patients across various age groups, primarily focusing on adult patients with complex respiratory needs. Ensure effective ventilatory support, patient education, and clinical assessments in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation, including bedside pulmonary function testing and arterial line management.
• Administer aerosol therapies, draw blood gases, and perform capillary blood sampling to monitor respiratory function.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment protocols, oxygen management, and respiratory health.
• Document clinical findings accurately within electronic health records and unit systems.
• Maintain compliance with certification and licensing requirements, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid GA or Compact Respiratory Therapist license.
• Hold BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience managing ventilators and pulmonary function testing preferred.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
