Job Summary:
Providing specialized wound care management to patients, the Wound Care RN (BSN) delivers advanced clinical interventions to promote healing and prevent complications. This role requires coordination with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients’ wound conditions to develop individualized care plans.
• Implement evidence-based wound care procedures, including dressing changes and treatment protocols.
• Educate patients and families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient treatment.
• Document clinical findings, treatments, and patient progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, certifications, and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of wound care experience.
• Possess current BLS certification; WOCN certification preferred.
• Demonstrate familiarity with Epic charting system and wound management protocols.
• Capable of working independently and within a team environment.
• Highly preferred: Pediatric wound care experience.
• Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs.
