Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Technologist – Outpatient performs diagnostic imaging procedures including x-rays of the chest, extremities, and other specified areas. They operate radiologic equipment independently, process and archive images, and assist with patient preparation and basic care under supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Position patients and prepare them for x-ray procedures in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently to capture high-quality images.
• Process, label, and upload images into PACS systems for review.
• Assist patients with obtaining vital signs, specimen collection, and patient setup for examinations.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked exam area, ensuring supplies and equipment are readily available.
• Float to Main Radiology as required to support departmental operations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT).
• Possess current CPR certification.
• Maintain valid California Fluoroscopy Permit and ARRT licensure.
• Demonstrate experience with EPIC EMR systems.
• Preferred: prior traveler or temporary staffing experience in radiologic imaging.
