Job Summary:
Provide high-quality radiologic imaging services by accurately performing X-ray procedures to support diagnostic needs. Ensure patient safety and optimal image quality while adhering to safety protocols and technical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures utilizing precise application of ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
• Position patients and operate equipment to clearly demonstrate the area being examined, demonstrating extensive anatomical positioning skills.
• Implement radiation protection measures for patients and staff during exposures, following safety standards.
• Adjust technical factors based on independent judgment, anatomy, disease effects, and equipment operation to achieve optimal exposures.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of X-ray experience in a hospital setting, including ER, inpatient, fluoroscopy, and OR.
• Hold current ARRT certification and active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Epic.
• Provide two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
• Be located outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not considered.
