Job Details

Job Summary:
Performs advanced X-ray and radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. Coordinates patient positioning, safety, and equipment operation to support radiologists and physicians.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate complex X-ray and radiographic equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Transfer and position patients safely, applying immobilization devices as necessary.
• Prepare and administer contrast media intravenously when required, following protocol.
• Develop, record, and manage digital images, ensuring proper storage and documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to assist in specialized procedures.
• Maintain equipment calibration, perform quality control, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Qualifications:

• Possess ARRT certification in Radiography.
• Minimum of 2 years of X-ray or radiology experience, including traveler experience preferred.
• Current Michigan license verification required for nurses; RN experience preferred but not mandatory.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and patient care protocols.
