Job Summary:

Provide specialized post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery, ensuring their stability and safety during the immediate post-operative period.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during recovery.
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered to manage pain and other symptoms.
• Assess patient responses and report any abnormal findings to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure proper care transitions.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in medical records.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Possess at least one year of recent experience in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• BLS (AHA or ARC) certification is required.
• ACLS or ALS certification is mandatory.
• PALS or PALS certification is required.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking.
