Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to obstetric patients in Labor and Delivery and OB Emergency Department settings. Ensure patient safety and comfort through skilled assessment, monitoring, and intervention during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor fetal and maternal vital signs to assess labor progress and identify complications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, procedures, and interventions in EMR systems.
• Assist with obstetric procedures including C-sections, SVD, cerclages, and TOLAC.
• Provide patient education and emotional support throughout labor and delivery.
• Follow unit policies regarding patient safety, infection control, and equipment usage.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring, SVE, and C-section circulation.
• Obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications.
• Have current knowledge of obstetric emergency protocols and procedures.
• Exhibit strong communication, teamwork, and positive attitude skills.
• Experience in a high-volume, Level IV maternity unit preferred.
