Job Summary:
Seeking skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery unit on a 13-week contract. The role involves managing high-volume obstetric cases during night shifts, ensuring patient safety and comfort without call requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients, including fetal monitoring and labor support.
• Administer medications and interventional procedures according to protocol.
• Monitor and document patient progress using Meditech EMR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum processes.
• Ensure compliance with unit policies, infection control, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess active RN license with at least 2+ years of labor and delivery experience.
• Hold certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and SVE competency.
• Demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring and C-section circulation.
• Have experience in high-volume, Level IV obstetric units preferred.
• Be able to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotating weekends.
