Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care in the Operating Room setting, supporting surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety during perioperative phases. Responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate care while collaborating with surgical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
• Assess patients pre- and post-operatively to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by physicians.
• Respond promptly to intraoperative emergencies and monitor patient vital signs.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends, holidays, and weeknights.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience working in an Operating Room setting.
• Strong knowledge of surgical protocols, aseptic techniques, and patient safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively during call shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
