Job Summary:
A licensed pharmacist with Epic experience is needed for a healthcare facility to manage medication preparation, dispensing, and patient consultation. This role involves ensuring the safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of pharmaceuticals in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret medication orders and accurately maintain computerized patient medication profiles.
• Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals, including IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition products.
• Comply with all applicable laws, issue controlled substances, and maintain detailed records.
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and appropriate dosing.
• Perform pharmacokinetic drug dosing following hospital protocols.
• Review and interpret clinical data to assess antibiotic appropriateness and suggest adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Colorado Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Graduate from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate Epic system experience.
• Have experience interpreting patient charts and performing drug dosing.
