Job Summary:
Providing supportive occupational therapy services as an Occupational Therapy Assistant during a temporary contract, assisting in patient care and rehabilitation efforts. Ensures compliance with clinical standards and facility protocols to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic activities.
• Document patient progress and clinical notes accurately within electronic health records.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is maintained and sanitized.
• adhere to facility policies, safety guidelines, and confidentiality standards.
• Support patient engagement and education efforts to enhance therapy effectiveness.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate patient status as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active California Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Bring a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic and Cerner electronic health record systems.
• Possess current AHA BLS certification.
• Ability to start by 8/24/26, with flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs.
