Job Summary:

Provide occupational therapy assistant services in a skilled nursing facility, supporting patient recovery and functional independence under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.

Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans tailored to residents' needs to enhance their daily functioning.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and interdisciplinary team members to deliver consistent care.
• Ensure documentation complies with facility policies, regulatory standards, and guidelines.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient progress using Net Health or designated systems.
• Adhere to facility policies, Medicare regulations, and safety protocols.
• Support a flexible, team-oriented working environment to meet patient care goals.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license.
• Hold experience working in a skilled nursing facility, preferred.
• Demonstrate strong documentation, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Show adaptability and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to mentor new or less experienced assistants is a plus.
• Flexibility to work Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday shifts.
