Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment at a 240-bed hospital. This role involves providing advanced respiratory care in ICU and NICU settings, ensuring patient safety and optimal ventilator management.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and manage ventilator setups, including assisting with intubations.
• Perform ABG analysis and interpret results to guide patient care.
• Educate patients and staff on respiratory therapies and equipment use.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR and adhere to unit policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months recent acute care hospital RRT experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Credentialed CRT or NBRC preferred.
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR system.
• PICU and NICU experience is highly desirable.
