Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to provide comprehensive support in a clinical setting. This role involves direct patient care, documentation, specimen collection, and maintaining a clean and organized environment to ensure quality healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, document symptoms with accuracy, and record visit reasons.
• Assist providers with medical procedures and administer injections and immunizations as ordered.
• Collect and document all necessary patient information to meet regulatory standards.
• Track results of tests and perform point-of-care testing (POCT) with appropriate quality controls.
• Use electronic medical records to manage patient requests, communicate lab results, prescriptions, and referrals.
• Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms and supply inventories, including disinfection and daily cleaning.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program such as NHA or AMCA is required.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) must be current.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience, preferably in a physician’s office or similar setting.
• Re-processing and procedural experience highly preferred.
