Job Summary:
The CT Technologist performs advanced computed tomography procedures to produce detailed cross-sectional and three-dimensional images, supporting diagnostic and interventional processes. The role involves preparing patients, reviewing clinical histories, and ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate interpretation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex CT procedures using advanced imaging technology.
• Review and document patient clinical history and prepare protocols accordingly.
• Identify, verify, and administer contrast media as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
• Communicate with physicians to clarify prescriptions and ensure exam appropriateness.
• Monitor patient condition throughout procedures, responding to adverse reactions as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, images, and patient information in PACS and other systems.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program with relevant clinical experience.
• Current NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License and ARRT R.T.(R) certification.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiological positioning, and CT hardware/software.
• Proficient in PACS system and familiarity with Epic or similar HIS/RIS.
• BLS certification within three months of hire; ARRT (CT) certification within 12 months.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., push/pull 50 lbs., and stand for extended periods.
