Job Summary:

The Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT/Clinical Lab Scientist) will perform specimen testing and analysis in a high-volume laboratory setting, ensuring accurate and timely results to support patient care. This role requires working rotating shifts, including weekends, with a focus on specimen processing and testing.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory tests and procedures according to established protocols.
• Obtain, process, and analyze specimens accurately to ensure valid results.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Document and report test results promptly to healthcare providers.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Hawaii State Medical Laboratory Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist license.
• Demonstrate proficiency in laboratory testing procedures and equipment.
• Possess strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Be able to work 40 hours per week, including rotating shifts and weekends.
• Have prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
