Job Description
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced EP CVT to operate independently in the EP lab, performing stimulation protocols, calculations, and electrogram measurements without assistance. The candidate should be proficient in setup and scrub procedures for CARTO, ESI, and cryoablation, and capable of conducting comprehensive EP studies.
Responsibilities:
- Execute stimulation protocols, electrogram measurements, and calculations independently.
- Set up and operate CARTO, ESI, and cryoablation equipment for EP procedures.
- Scrub all EP procedures, including implant/device cases and complex ablations.
- Perform complete EP studies, ensuring thorough data collection and analysis.
- Assist in the preparation and management of EP lab equipment and protocols.
- Collaborate with electrophysiologists and other team members to ensure procedural success.
Qualifications:
- Possess 5+ years of experience in electrophysiology procedures and EP lab environments.
- Hold current BLS/ACLS certification for RNs or relevant credentials such as RCIS, RCES, or ARRT in CV category.
- Licensure or registration in the state of Florida required (excluding CVT; CVT must have AS degree or higher).
- Demonstrate proficiency in running stimulation protocols, scrubbing diverse EP procedures, and setting up CARTO, ESI, and cryo systems.
- Be able to work independently and efficiently after orientation.
