Job Summary:
Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care in a small hospital setting. Ensure patient safety and comfort while managing diverse clinical responsibilities, including emergency response and patient education.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, including pediatric cases, utilizing PALS certification.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
• Float to sister facility as needed, demonstrating flexibility in scheduling.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state of Iowa or current multistate license.
• Have recent experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Possess Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Be willing to work every third weekend and night shifts.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability with scheduling and floating responsibilities.
• Be comfortable handling pediatric patients and varying clinical situations.
