Job Summary:
Responsible for providing specialized critical care to patients in the ICU, ensuring optimal recovery post-surgery and managing complex medical conditions. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, including those with open-heart surgeries and post-op recovery needs.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Manage chest tubes and other invasive devices, ensuring proper function and patient safety.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care plans.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and responses accurately in medical records.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license.
• Prior ICU experience strongly preferred, especially with cardiac and post-operative patients.
• Knowledge of chest tube management, post-op recovery, and direct admit procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments and handle critical patient situations.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
