Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for ICU (MICU) position at Cleveland Clinic-Fairview Hospital. This role requires advanced critical care skills and the ability to float across multiple ICU and ED units during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit and other ICU settings.
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with hospital policies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition, medication administration, and ventilator management.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards including certifications and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent ICU or MICU experience prior to travel.
• Active Ohio license or Compact state license at the time of submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHSS preferred.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Valid references from managers, ANMs, supervisors, or directors from recent ICU assignments.
• Must pass drug screening and background checks per facility policy.
