Job Summary:
The Informatics Pharmacist is responsible for optimizing pharmacy systems and workflows, enhancing medication safety, and supporting regulatory compliance within a hospital setting. This role offers an opportunity to lead clinical informatics initiatives, improve healthcare technology utilization, and contribute to patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain pharmacy informatics systems, including automation and electronic health records.
• Improve medication safety and operational efficiency through system enhancements and process improvements.
• Manage drug diversion monitoring programs and contribute to supply chain integrity.
• Provide clinical guidance on pharmacy technology applications and workflows.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support regulatory compliance and medication use processes.

Qualifications:

• Require Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program.
• Hold at least one year of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Possess Board Certification in Pharmacy Informatics (BCPIS) or related specialization preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge of EHRs, medication-use systems, and controlled substance regulations.
• Current Kansas Pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure highly preferred.
