Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive telemetry nursing care to patients in an intermediate care setting at Wesley Medical Center. Deliver exceptional patient monitoring, assessments, and interventions in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs using advanced telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and operate medical devices such as PCA pumps and chest tubes.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system and update care plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and their families about their condition and post-discharge care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license and a minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital telemetry experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using Meditech EMR and telemetry monitoring equipment.
• Possess BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a positive, engaged attitude.
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy hospital setting.
