Job Summary:
Provide physical therapy assistance to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a small, skilled nursing facility. The role focuses on delivering personalized care to improve residents' mobility and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans for geriatric residents.
• Support residents in exercises and functional activities to enhance mobility and strength.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting findings to the supervising PT.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment to prevent injuries and promote recovery.
• Adhere to all facility policies, safety regulations, and best practices in patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or credential.
• Demonstrate compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Possess excellent communication and observational skills.
• Have experience working with elderly populations in a skilled nursing setting.
• Be able to follow detailed treatment plans and document care accurately.
