Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a Medical Surgical unit. The nurse will collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to hospital standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Document patient progress and treatment details accurately using Meditechs system.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding care plans and progress.
• Float within the unit as needed, supporting staffing needs and maintaining continuity of care.
• Follow unit policies regarding documentation, patient experience, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Proficient in Meditechs documentation system and basic med-surg procedures.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to adapt to floating policies.
• BLS certification required; other certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work 13-week travel assignments with flexible scheduling and 12-hour shifts.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
