Job Summary:

Provide specialized physical therapy services to patients through assessment, treatment, and planning of therapeutic interventions, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with medical directives.
• Administer therapeutic procedures and interventions to promote mobility, function, and pain relief.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly in the electronic medical record system.
• Communicate treatment goals and progress to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and certification requirements.
• Participate in patient education to support recovery and prevent future impairments.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Texas PT licensure and current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of outpatient or hospital-based physical therapy experience.
• Possess excellent communication and patient assessment skills.
• Be willing to work rotating weekends and participate in on-call rotation if required.
• Be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with active APTA membership preferred.
