Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled CVOR Registered Nurse to join the surgical team for specialized cardiovascular procedures. This role involves providing expert circulatory support in a fast-paced operating room environment dedicated to cardiac and thoracic surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries, including heart and valve replacements, CABG, and AAA procedures.
• Prepare and position patients, facilitate surgical procedures, and ensure adherence to sterile protocols.
• Operate advanced robotic surgical systems such as XI Robot and Mako joint robot.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesia, and support staff to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
• Follow unit-specific policies and guidelines, maintaining compliance and documentation standards.
• Provide support during complex surgeries, including neuro, plastics, orthopedics, trauma, urology, and GYN cases as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with valid state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience, including heart and valve replacements.
• Proficiency in cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and robotic surgical procedures.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, patient positioning, and surgical instrumentation.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications in cardiovascular or thoracic specialties preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle complex surgical cases.
