Job Summary:


Seeking a Radiation Therapist to provide advanced radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions and established protocols. This role requires expertise in EPIC EMR system and relevant certifications to ensure precise patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation treatments accurately while adhering to prescribed protocols and safety standards.
  
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient treatments and progress within the EPIC EMR system.
  
• Collaborate with oncologists, dosimetrists, and healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
  
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines, including required certifications such as ARRT, BLS, and SCRQSA license.
  
• Participate in ongoing training and mandatory modules, completing pre-start modules within 48 hours of assignment.
  
• Float to different units or campuses as needed, performing tasks within documented competencies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required.
  
• Valid SCRQSA license and BLS certification required.
  
• Minimum of 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience.
  
• Proven experience in radiation treatment planning and patient care.
  
• Ability to work a 7:30 am to 4:00 pm shift, five days a week.
  
• Must demonstrate competency in radiation therapy equipment and safety procedures.
