Job Summary:
The CT Tech is responsible for performing computed tomography procedures that support accurate diagnoses and patient care. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols within a hospital or imaging center setting.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring they meet safety guidelines.
• Follow exposure safety protocols to protect patients and staff during imaging.
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure proper imaging techniques are applied.
• Document procedures, patient information, and image quality in electronic medical records.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and report maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT certification in CT imaging and valid SC state license.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent experience working as a CT technologist.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating Omnicell medication systems.
• Have BLS and SCRQSA certifications up to date.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and patient-focused care.
