Job Summary:
The Wound Care RN (BSN) provides specialized wound management and patient care in a teaching hospital setting. This role involves collaborative treatment plans, maintaining certifications, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized wound care plans for diverse patient populations.
• Administer treatments and monitor healing progress, adjusting care as necessary.
• Document patient care and progress accurately within the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient treatment.
• Comply with facility policies, including certifications and licensing requirements.
• Float within scope to support sister facilities when needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active South Carolina RN license or proof of application.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of wound care nursing experience, highly preferred pediatrics.
• Maintain current BLS certification; WOCN certification highly preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in electronic charting systems, preferably Epic.
• Have the ability to work 5x8 day shifts from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
• Be eligible to work within a 60-mile radius of the facility.
