Job Summary:
The Wound Care RN (BSN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating wound care treatments to promote healing and prevent complications. This role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and adherence to clinical protocols to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and document findings accurately.
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans in accordance with best practices.
• Administer treatments, dressings, and interventions consistent with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to adjust care plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and their families on wound management and prevention techniques.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active and unrestricted RN license in South Carolina.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with prior wound care experience highly preferred.
• Certification in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (WOCN) required; continence cert not necessary.
• BLS certification required; pediatrics experience is a plus.
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
