Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in a high-acuity hospital setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver advanced respiratory treatments and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments utilizing advanced equipment and medications.
• Evaluate patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document all interventions and patient responses accurately in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain and troubleshoot complex respiratory equipment, including high flow devices, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and continuous nebulizers.
• Adhere to safety protocols and hospital policies, including dress code and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold current BLS, NRP, and PALS certification.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent acute care hospital RRT experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech documentation system.
• Have current NICU/PICU experience preferred.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
• Maintain licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Florida.
