Qualifications
Must hold or be eligible for New York State School Psychologist certification

Specialist-level degree (Ed.S., Psy.S.) or higher in School Psychology

Valid New York State certification through the New York State Education Department

Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary school team

Strong assessment, consultation, and problem-solving skills

Experience
Experience providing psychological services in a school setting

Strong knowledge of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and New York State special education compliance standards

Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments

Ability to develop and support IEPs, behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and student support strategies

Experience collaborating with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and families
