Job Summary:
The CT Scan Technologist performs advanced computed tomography procedures and related techniques, generating detailed sectional and three-dimensional images for radiological interpretation. The role also involves assisting with interventional and therapeutic procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Execute complex CT scans using specialized equipment and techniques.
• Review and obtain patients’ clinical histories, documenting and scanning information into PACS.
• Prepare patients, review contrast questionnaires, and administer contrast media as prescribed.
• Verify prescriptions and collaborate with physicians to clarify or obtain additional clinical details.
• Monitor patients during procedures for adverse reactions and provide appropriate interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including exam copies, reports, and insurance authorization records.

Qualifications:

• Hold a graduate degree from a Radiologic Technologist program with NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License.
• Achieve ARRT (R.T. (R)) certification within 12 months of hire.
• Possess a current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in anatomy, physiology, and radiological positioning.
• Show thorough knowledge of PACS, CT hardware, and software systems.
• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience, with preferred experience on GE equipment and Epic EMR.
