Job Summary:
Responsible for providing advanced respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring optimal respiratory function and patient safety. This role requires adherence to strict compliance standards and collaboration with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status to develop and implement appropriate treatment plans
• Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy, intubation, and mechanical ventilation in accordance with physician orders
• Document patient progress and procedures accurately in compliance with facility protocols
• Maintain active certifications, including NBRC and BLS, and stay current on required modules and training
• Adhere to travel compliance policies, including background checks, drug screens, and fingerprinting within specified timeframes
• Collaborate effectively with medical staff and participate in shifts, including night 12-hour schedules

Qualifications:

• Hold active NBRC and BLS certifications with no pending status
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience in a clinical setting
• Demonstrate ability to complete travel compliance requirements, including background checks and drug screens
• Provide two recent managerial or supervisor references from within the last 12 months
• Be fully vaccinated and nicotine-free, with negative drug screens within 12 months
• Be willing to work night shifts, with flexibility to extend assignments up to 18 months
