Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. The role involves providing compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment, with potential to float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill and post-surgical patients in the Stepdown unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret ECG rhythms, and administer medications safely.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in electronic medical records.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, certifications, and shift requirements.
• Work at least every other holiday and rotate shifts between day and night as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Hold a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
• Have current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate proficiency with acceptable scores.
• Provide at least one recent supervisor or manager reference in the specialty.
• Be willing to work variable shifts and meet travel compliance requirements.
