Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a float pool position at a prominent hospital. Candidates will provide consistent patient care across IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units, with potential to cover additional units including ED and J1-2.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill and recovering patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown units.
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergent situations promptly.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and document patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Comply with hospital protocols, safety standards, and certification requirements.
• Float to assigned units as needed to meet operational demands.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel.
• Hold an active Ohio license or a valid compact state license in-hand.
• Have recent Stepdown experience; travel experience is acceptable.
• Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Be willing to work every other holiday as required.
