Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) with experience managing complex patient conditions, including ventilator weaning, wound care, spinal cord injuries, trachs, and PEG placements. This role involves night shifts and requires flexibility to float across units based on census needs and competency.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with specialized diagnoses in a 12-bed ICU and 31-bed Med-Surg unit.
• Administer medications via Omnicell system, adhering to protocols and ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC EMR documentation and updates.
• Float between units as needed, maintaining compliance with competency standards and Prisma Health policies.
• Complete pre-assignment testing and required modules within 48 hours of contract start.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid SC RN license and meet state licensure requirements.
• Possess a minimum of one year recent experience with EPIC EMR.
• Prove competency with Omnicell medication system and current ACLS, BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in managing patients with ventilator needs, wound care, and spinal cord injuries.
• Be willing to work night shifts and float to multiple units as needed.
• Must reside more than 100 miles from Prisma facilities unless specified exceptions apply.
