Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients in the PCU/IMC/Stepdown unit, ensuring comfort, safety, and adherence to care protocols. Collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments following established guidelines.
• Monitor patient progress and document findings accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and intervene in emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license.
• Possess at least 2+ years of recent experience in a PCU or IMC/Stepdown setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry monitoring and acute patient care.
• Maintain current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
