Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with charge experience for a Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive neonatal and maternal care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate patient care activities within the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Perform labor and recovery procedures, including assessments and monitoring of fetal and maternal status.
• Respond effectively to OB emergencies such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and clinical data accurately in Meditech and CPN systems.
• Support unit operations, including floating to other units as needed and adhering to hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Proven charge nurse experience in obstetrics preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring training.
• Skilled in fetal monitoring, inductions, and OB emergency management.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills.
