Job Summary:
Provide speech and language therapy services to residents, assessing communication and swallowing abilities, and developing individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate residents’ speech, language, and swallowing functions to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each resident’s condition.
• Monitor progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate residents and family members on communication strategies and exercises.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Possess previous experience working in a healthcare or senior living environment preferred.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be capable of conducting detailed evaluations and documenting findings accurately.
• Have the ability to work independently within a team setting.
