Seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to provide specialized communication disorder assessments and treatments. The role involves delivering patient-centered therapy to promote optimal communication and swallowing functions.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve speech, language, and cognitive skills.
• Document patient progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on treatment goals and home exercises.

Qualifications:

• Holds a valid state license or credential as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Possesses relevant clinical experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
• Demonstrates strong assessment and therapeutic skills in communication disorders.
• Exhibits excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Able to work effectively within a team environment and adapt to patient needs.
