Job Summary:
Assist Occupational Therapists in providing rehabilitative services to patients, helping them regain independence and improve their daily functioning. Ensure that patient care plans are executed effectively and efficiently in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support Occupational Therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the clinical team.
• Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment, adhering to safety standards.
• Assist with setup and preparation of therapy equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Occupational Therapy Assistant license or credential.
• Demonstrate knowledge of rehabilitative practices and patient care techniques.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
