Job Summary:
Experienced registered nurse needed for Labor and Delivery unit with charge experience. Responsible for providing comprehensive prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver direct patient care to obstetric patients, including labor, delivery, and postpartum management.
• Serve as a charge nurse, overseeing daily unit operations and supporting staff.
• Administer medications, initiate IV therapy, and perform clinical procedures as required on the unit.
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech system and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and unit staff to maintain high-quality care standards.
• Support floating protocols and adapt to staffing adjustments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas RN license; temporary licenses not accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and FM certifications.
• Advanced skills preferred: RNC, Meditech experience.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
