Job Summary:
Seeking experienced RN in Labor and Delivery to provide compassionate care during obstetric and postpartum phases. Responsible for supporting mothers through labor, delivery, and recovery, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage labor and delivery processes, including monitoring fetal and maternal well-being.
• Circulate during cesarean sections and assist with triage and postpartum procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care based on AWHONN guidelines.
• Document clinical interventions accurately within the EMR system.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Float to related units as needed to support staffing demands.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of recent labor and delivery experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in labor management, fetal monitoring, and cesarean section assistance.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and adapt to varying patient needs.
• Experience with GE fetal monitoring equipment and Meditech EMR preferred.
• Priority given to candidates with a positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
