Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist - CT is responsible for performing advanced computed tomography scans and related procedures in an acute hospital setting. The role requires independent operation of imaging equipment and adherence to radiologist protocols to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners and perform routine and specialized imaging procedures according to radiologist specifications.
• Assist with venipuncture, contrast administration, and image post-processing, including MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and ensure compliance with facility protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize imaging quality and patient care.
• Ensure equipment calibration, infection control, and safety precautions are strictly followed.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment issues and report maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT certification in Computed Tomography.
• Possess a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Have a minimum of two years of experience in an acute hospital environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation.
• Be able to perform independently without supervision and work flexible shifts.
• Experience with venipuncture, biopsies, drainages, vascular, or cardiac imaging is preferred.
