Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide high-quality care on a 1S Observation unit with flexibility to float to various Med-Surg units, including Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, and possibly the Emergency Department. The role involves primarily day shifts with every other weekend required, limited call responsibilities, and a focus on acute patient monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with clinical standards and protocols.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and BCRA data, ensuring accurate assessment of patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR system, demonstrating proficiency and compliance.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, ensuring safety and comfort during assigned shifts.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety procedures, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Hold active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in Telemetry and Medical-Surgical nursing.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic EMR system; refresher training or one-on-one onboarding is not permitted.
• Be able to read telemetry and BCRA data confidently; passing a skills competency test required on day one.
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
• Be available to start on November 16th, unless returning as a Genesis traveler within 9 months.
