Job Summary:
Provides specialized telemetry nursing care to patients, ensuring safe and effective treatment while adhering to established standards. Supervises and coordinates care delivery while working closely with the healthcare team to promote patient safety and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive telemetry nursing care for assigned patients, monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physicians’ orders and facility protocols.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to nursing staff and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and their families on medication management, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document clinical findings, interventions, and patient progress accurately in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess a minimum of two years recent telemetry nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Have advanced certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• Demonstrate proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC.
• Possess excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
