Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care in a Medical-Surgical unit specializing in Infectious Diseases, including COVID, MRSA, and C-Diff patients. This role requires focus on infection control protocols and managing complex patient needs within a private room setting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care according to physician orders and established clinical protocols.
• Administer IV medications, including Heparin and antibiotics, titrating drips as needed.
• Implement and enforce isolation and infection prevention procedures.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to coordinate patient care activities.
• Monitor patient status using remote telehealth systems and interpret basic strip readings.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records during and after shifts.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and unexpired driver’s license required.
• BLS certification is mandatory; additional certifications are preferred.
• Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge of MedSurg, Infectious Diseases, and isolation precautions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple patients with complex infectious conditions.
• Experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment with 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments across various MedSurg units and tele units.
